What it does

An antioxidant and preservative sourced from lemons, oranges and other fruits.

What it does

Has a lightening effect on the skin, as well as playing a role in the formation of collagen. It inhibits lipid peroxidation, (where free radicals cause cell damage), has superior skin penetration abilities and also helps to protect cells from UVB damage.

What it does

Naturally derived vitamin E sourced from vegetable oils e.g. soya bean. It is an essential oil antioxidant that helps all body tissue.

Essential Fatty
Acids

What it does

Contains oleic (Omega 9) and linoleic (Omega 6) acids. Together, they promote firmness and elasticity to the skin; are essential to the health of cellular membranes and are critical in the formation of prostagladin, which acts as a natural anti-inflammatory and healing agent and helps to regulate sebum production.

What it does

What it does

What it does

Kakadu Plum

What it does

Kaolin Clay

What it does

This ingredient is excellent for troubled skin types. Kaolin clay has natural absorbent properties and is the mildest of all clays. It helps to stimulate circulation to the skin, as well as gently exfoliate and cleanse.


Macadamia Nut Oil

What it does

A moisturiser that helps keep skin smooth and supple. Extracted from macadamia nuts.

Manuka Honey

What it does

Has been used as a healing agent since ancient times. Containing antibacterial components not found in any other honey, it aids in soothing and protecting the skin, while helping to maintain a high level of enzymes, vitamins, mineral and antioxidants necessary for healthy looking skin. It is produced by bees, primarily from floral nectars.

Marine Collagen

What it does

Marine Collagen has a variety of benefits when applied to the skin. It stimulates the skin's natural collagen production which smoothes the skin.

Collagen encourages skin renewal reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Marine Collagen also helps prevent the natural collagen and elastin, firming the skin. Sourced from Crustaceans (Shellfish)

What it does

What it does

Whilst Grace Cosmetics and Pro-Ma Systems is not a significant user of either palm oil or palm oil derivatives, we recognise the concerns regarding the ecological impacts of palm oil production.


Peppermint Oil

What it does

Soothing and cleansing to the skin with a fresh, clean fragrance. Sourced from peppermint leaves.

Retinyl Palmitate
(Naturally derived

What it does

Retinyl palmitate is an active ingredient that is effective as an antioxidant and skin-cell regulator. As retinyl palmitate is one of the primary antioxidants found naturally in the skin, when it is used as an ingredient it performs similar functions.

What it does

Squalene is similar to vitamin E in that it is a deeply nourishing emollient. It is also an antioxidant that helps protect your skin from free radicals and assists in preventing the breakdown of your skin's natural collagen and elastin.

It contains lipoproteins that help prevent the formation of harmful peroxides that can destroy the vitamins in your skin.

Sunflower Seed Oil

What it does

Sunflower seeds contain large amounts of vitamins A, D and E.

They also contain helianol, which has a potent anti-inflammatory effect on the skin.

Helianthus Annuus Oil is one of several plant derived emollients that mimic the fat content of the skin. This helps to maintain the structure of the skin's matrix, assist in preventing moisture loss and cell damage and promotes a soft, smooth and healthy appearance to the skin.

Sweet Almond Oil
(Prunus Amygdalus Dulcis)

Protects and nourishes the skin while promoting a clear, youthful complexion.

Acting as an excellent emollient, it soothes and softens the skin with its high content of essential fatty acids. Source - Obtained from the ripe seed of the almond tree.

Titanium Dioxide

What it does

A natural mineral colouring agent providing broad spectrum UVA and UVB protection.

Tocopherol

What it does

Derived from wheat germ or vegetable oils, Tocopherol softens, soothes and increases the skin's natural moisture retention.

It is an antioxidant and free radical scavenger that protects the skin's fibroblasts and helps skin absorb other compounds. It also contains anti-inflammatory properties.

What it does

A highly active and effective ingredient, it is an emollient, humectant and solvent. Derived from corn sugar, Zemea® is known for its purity, lack of irritation and sensitisation and its environmentally friendly nature. It has been tested in two independent patch tests at concentrations of up to 75% and has not produced skin irritation or sensitisation reactions.
